Mr. Graber focuses his practice on entertainment industry companies and talent, including theatrical, television, video and on-line content production and distribution, licensing and merchandising, sales and acquisitions and marketing and promotions.
Mr. Graber has a breadth of experience working as an attorney in the entertainment industry: as General Counsel and Head of Business Affairs for Wild Brain Entertainment, Inc., Mr. Graber managed all legal and business affairs for the company, including television production and distribution, video, licensing and merchandising, and all matters related to intellectual property, personnel and litigation.
Prior to his position at Wild Brain, Mr. Graber was Head of Business Affairs for DreamWorks Home Entertainment for eight years. He handled the legal and business affairs for the video division, including negotiating and drafting all documents relating to marketing and promotions, distribution and licensing, sales and acquisitions (including all-media acquisitions), and providing advice to senior management regarding marketing, litigation, personnel, antitrust and intellectual property matters.
Mr. Graber also cultivated international experience by serving as Director of Legal and Business Affairs, Europe for Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment International. In addition, Mr. Graber negotiated and drafted all agreements relating to Fox’s operations in its six subsidiary and nineteen licensee territories.
Immediately prior to joining Fischbach, Perlstein, Lieberman & Almond LLP, Mr. Graber returned to private practice as an entertainment transactional lawyer in the Beverly Hills branch of Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton. Earlier in his career, Mr. Graber worked as an entertainment litigator in private practice. He was a litigation partner at Rosenfeld, Meyer & Susman, in Beverly Hills, where his practice focused on entertainment-related matters involving breach of contract, interference with contract, copyright, defamation and intellectual property actions in state and federal courts including appellate work at the state Supreme Court level. Mr. Graber began his law career as an associate at O’Melveny & Myers, in Century City, where his practice emphasized entertainment litigation.
Mr. Graber graduated from Harvard Law School, cum laude, and earned his Bachelor of Arts in English, magna cum laude, from UCLA.
